1925 was the official year for completion of the Canadian National Railway Station situated in the centre of what was enventually to be called the townsite of Jasper.
Rail travel was glamorous in the 1930's and 1940's and Jasper National Park was among one of the most popular destinations for celebrities and movie stars of that era.
As travel and trade increased the small town of Jasper flourished into a town offering a Trading Post, Firehall, Post Office, General Store and Hotels.
Park Place Inn captures the heritage of these old times.
